About company
Our work is geared towards accompanying young people on their way to a successful graduation, both encouraging and challenging them.
Regardless of the transition recommendation from elementary school, we want to offer our students the opportunity to exploit their full potential, regardless of whether they are aiming for the secondary school leaving certificate (MSA) or the Abitur. According to their knowledge, skills and interests, they should be able to expand, develop and deepen them. We have been supporting them with a lot of passion for many years.
The focus on business and English offer competitive tools for a successful and fulfilling life, both professionally and privately.
Always in view
Recognize and develop performance potential and interests
The advantages of differentiated teaching are obvious: high performers can be challenged more and weaker performers receive better support. This concept has been tried and tested for many years. In addition, all students in grades 9 and 11 gain important first impressions and experiences during a three-week internship as part of dual learning.
Secondary level I.
Duty first ...
In the lower secondary level, the middle level, the students prepare for the secondary school leaving certificate (MSA) and, with corresponding MSA results, create the prerequisites for a transition to the upper secondary level.
Through the differentiated teaching in mathematics, English and German as well as biology, physics and chemistry, all students should be both encouraged and challenged. In addition to the regular canon of subjects, compulsory elective courses are currently offered alongside foreign languages (French or Spanish), biology, geography and sport, as well as business and IT. According to the regulation for the lower secondary level, MSA exams are compulsory for all pupils in the 10th grade. Written exams in German, English and mathematics are to be taken. English is also an oral exam. Another part of the exam consists of the presentation exam, which is prepared in group work, deals with topics from freely selectable areas and is accompanied by teachers during consultations.
Secondary level II
... and then the freestyle
In the secondary level II, the gymnasiale Oberstufe, preparation for the general university entrance qualification, the Abitur, begins. Abitur exams are taken regularly at the end of the 13th grade.
Until then, however, the students are not simply left to their own devices, as can often be the case in the course system. With us you still have a class teacher as your contact person. In addition, tutors are at their side, who cater to their individual needs.
In addition, all students in grade 11 complete a three-week internship as part of dual learning.
In the Abitur, written and oral exams must be taken at the end of the 13th grade. In addition to the compulsory written exams in two advanced courses and one basic course, there is a compulsory oral exam in a further, fourth examination subject. As a fifth component of the examination, all high school graduates have the chance to prove themselves with a “special learning achievement”. This can be done in the form of a thesis, a colloquium or participation in a subject-specific competition.
Focus
Business, English and Art
The aim of the business profile area is to clarify and make understandable economic relationships in daily life. From procurement to sales to human resources, business aspects are discussed.
In addition, there are economic topics that are dealt with both in working groups and in lessons. The practice-oriented lessons are lively and complemented by visits to companies and institutions. The work is mainly project-oriented, so that teamwork, presentation techniques and the creation of specialist work can also be trained.
Wherever we walk and stand, we meet the English language. Sometimes it finds its way into German usage, just think of terms like FLAT RATE, SALE or MEETING. We have been taking this into account for many years and have deepened our regular foreign language lessons by teaching other subjects such as economics, biology and computer science in English. Not a must, but always an excellent option that is very well received by our students.
The combination of business and English is the cherry on the top of the cake. The educational offer, which is currently unique in Berlin, offers a clear competitive advantage when entering a degree or vocational training.
Last but not least, the visual arts have established themselves as a further focus over the past few years. As a creative opposite pole, the subject offers various possibilities for artistic design and individual analysis. It's all a question of perspective ... read more
