MC2 Estudio de Ingeniería, SL was founded in 1988 by Julio Martínez Calzón, Dr. Engineer of Roads, Canals and Ports, Professor of Special Metallic Structures until 2003 at the Higher Technical School of Engineers of Roads, Channels and Ports of the Polytechnic University from Madrid, and recognized specialist in the field of structures with more than forty years of experience. Although its foundation dates back to 1988, the company includes all the trajectory and experience of Julio Martínez Calzón during his professional career.
Since its inception, there have been numerous milestones originated in its offices, which have decisively influenced the design of civil engineering and building structures and, especially, in the design of mixed structures in Spain.
This has been possible thanks to the deep knowledge of the structural functioning given by the experience in the project of complex and novel types of metallic, mixed and reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete bridges; as well as unique buildings, roofs and special structures.
