About company
The roots of the Spängler family date back to 1590 as wine growers and innkeepers. They arranged the transport of wine, silk and spices from Venice to Salzburg and salt in the opposite direction from the South Tyrolean Ahrntal. Transport became trading and its financing finally gave rise to the banking house in 1828.
