TRUST Algeria is a joint-stock company created in 1997 within the framework of Ordinance 95 - 07 of January 25, 1995 which dedicated the opening of the Algerian insurance market to private investment.
It started its activity on February 28, 1998 as 1st ALGERIAN PRIVATE COMPANY , following the obtaining of its approval on November 18, 1997 and practices the whole of the operations of insurance and reinsurance.
Today TRUST ASSURANCES ALGERIA has a 100% shareholding structure of foreign investors, following the redemptions of CAAR and CCR shares in 2007. It is distributed as follows:
TRUST INTERNATIONAL (77.5%)
QATAR GENERAL INSURANCE (22.5%)
At the end of 2017, TRUST ASSURANCES closed its balance sheet with considerable assets exceeding DA 8 billion. The group's assets amounted to more than $ 5 billion at the end of 2016.
