Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation

Pursuant to Article 2 of the State Treaty, the Foundation has the task of preserving the cultural assets handed over to it, taking into account historical, art and garden history and monument conservation issues, supplementing its inventory, making it accessible to the public and evaluating this cultural asset for the interests of the general public, especially in science and education. According to the laws of Berlin and Brandenburg, it is responsible for the tasks of the lower monument protection authority with regard to the listed foundation assets.
